When God Moves: A Testimony of Healing

Sister Abena Owusu had been battling a chronic illness for three years. Doctor after doctor offered little hope. But she never stopped praying, and her church family never stopped believing.

The Diagnosis

In 2023, Abena was diagnosed with a condition that doctors said would only worsen over time. "They gave me medication to manage it," she recalls, "but they never said the word 'cure.'"

The Prayer

Abena's small group committed to praying for her every Wednesday evening. "They did not just pray once and forget," she says. "They prayed consistently, passionately, and with faith that moved me to tears."

Six months later, during a routine check-up, her doctor was stunned. "He ran the tests twice," Abena says, smiling. "He could not explain it. But I could. God did it."
